Find out what you're really paying to take card payments.
Upload your latest merchant statement. We calculate your real effective rate — free, same day — and tell you honestly whether switching is worth it.
Headline rate and effective rate are rarely the same number.
Most businesses know the rate they were quoted. Very few know what they actually pay once every fee is added.
Effective rate = total charges ÷ total card turnover, for the same period. It's the only number that reflects real cost — and it's calculated from your statement, not from a brochure.
Five steps. You do the first one.
Upload your statement
A photo, screenshot or PDF of your most recent monthly statement.
We analyse it
Every fee identified and totalled against your turnover — same day, usually within hours.
You receive a savings report
In writing: your effective rate, what's driving it, and what you'd pay with us.
A clear recommendation
If the saving is meaningful, we say so. If it isn't, we say that too.
Switch — only if it's worthwhile
No pressure either way. Most of our credibility depends on the times we say "stay where you are."
Exactly what we need, and what we don't.
We never ask for bank details, card numbers, logins or passwords — on this page or at any stage of the review. Just the page of your statement showing turnover and total charges.
Not features. Outcomes.
Know your true processing cost, not the headline number
Identify exactly which fees are driving your cost up
Understand your contract terms before you're locked into another year
See how your rate compares to today's market
Reduce payment costs where switching is genuinely worthwhile
Make the decision with evidence, not a sales pitch
One simple rate
No PCI, platform or authorisation padding. Pay only for what you process.
Equipment sorted
If switching is worthwhile, your new provider supplies the terminal — rent from £15/month or purchase outright, subject to eligibility.
Built for you
Specialists in independent UK businesses like yours.
Upload your statement.
Two minutes. No account, no card details, no commitment.
Got it — thank you.
We'll have your effective rate and savings report back to you the same day, usually within a couple of hours. We'll call or message on the number you gave us.
What we collect, and what happens to it.
Quantome Commerce Limited is registered in England & Wales (Company No. 14544968) and handles your information in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We're not affiliated with your current provider, and uploading a statement doesn't commit you to anything.
Early days, and we'd rather say that than invent one.
We're publishing real reviews as they complete, with permission from each business. Nothing here is invented to look more established than we are.
Before you upload.
Yes, with no obligation to switch. If you're already on a fair deal, we'll tell you.
Same day, usually within a couple of hours of receiving your statement.
Your total card processing charges divided by your total card turnover for the same period — the only figure that reflects what you actually pay, including fees not shown on the headline rate.
We'll say so in writing and won't push you to switch. Our recommendation only means something if it's sometimes "stay."
Your most recent monthly merchant statement — a photo, screenshot or PDF showing turnover and total charges.
Yes. Give us your rough monthly card turnover and current provider instead, and we'll work from that.
Yes. It's used only to calculate your review and isn't shared with anyone else.
Yes. We'll tell you when you're free to move, so you're deciding with the facts rather than in a rush when your provider calls to renew.
No. Your existing machine keeps working until the new one is live. There's no gap.
No. We're a cost review service. A new provider is only ever the outcome, and only if the numbers genuinely support it.
